Since its establishment on 25 November 2010, Thai Eastern Bio Power Public Company Limited (the “Company” or “TEBP”) has achieved the following:

Key milestones

2010

Company Establishment

  • Incorporated Thai Eastern Bio Power Company Limited on 25 November 2010.
  • Established with initial registered capital of THB 5 million, comprising 50,000 fully paid ordinary shares with a par value of THB 100 per share.
  • Established its head office at 188 Moo 2, Chonburi–Klaeng Road, Khao Sok Subdistrict, Nong Yai District, Chonburi.
  • Commenced operations to produce and distribute biogas and biogas-based electricity.
2014

Business Expansion and Capital Increase

Capital Increase

  • Increased registered capital from THB 5 million to THB 40 million to support business expansion and advance the “Zero Waste” model.
  • Expanded into organic waste management for Thai Eastern Group’s production operations to maximize resource utilization and reduce environmental impacts.

Biogas Production and Distribution

  • Obtained a factory operation licence (Ror.Ngor. 4) to produce biological products from materials such as Napier grass, oil palm bunches and fronds, cassava residue, ethanol residue, food waste, sludge, fats and other production waste.
2015

Transfer of Power Generation Licence

  • Assumed the rights and obligations under a power generation licence with an installed capacity of up to 10 MW from Eastern Palm Oil Company Limited (EPO).
2016

Business Expansion and Licence Transfers

Organic Waste Management

  • Increased organic waste management capacity to approximately 12,754 tonnes per year.

Biogas Production and Distribution

  • Increased maximum biogas production capacity to approximately 1,275,411 cubic metres per year.

Green Electricity (Biogas based) Generation and Distribution

  • Assumed the rights and obligations under the electricity distribution and distribution system licences from EPO.
2018

Commencement of Power Generation and Contract Transfer

Organic Waste Management

  • Expanded organic waste management services to customers both within and outside Thai Eastern Group.

Green Electricity (Biogas based) Generation and Distribution

  • Commenced biogas-based electricity generation and distribution to Thai Eastern Group companies.
  • Assumed the rights and obligations under EPO’s power purchase agreement with the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) for electricity generated by a Very Small Power Producer (VSPP) using renewable energy.
2019

Capacity Expansion and Licensing

Organic Waste Management

  • Acquired organic waste digestion ponds from EPO, TER and EQR, increasing maximum organic waste management capacity to approximately 449,460 tonnes per year.

Biogas Production and Distribution

  • Acquired biogas production facilities from EPO, TER and EQR, increasing maximum biogas production capacity to approximately 29,502,000 cubic metres per year.

Green Electricity (Biogas based) Generation and Distribution

  • Obtained a controlled energy production licence to generate electricity for distribution.
2020

Separation of Power Plant Licence

Green Electricity (Biogas based) Generation and Distribution

  • Assumed the factory operation licence from EPO for a 4.00 MW biogas-based power generation facility.
2021

Business Transfer and Expansion

Biogas Production and Distribution

  • Obtained approval for the transfer of a factory operation licence from EPO covering the production of biogas from palm industry materials, oil palm bunches, other biogas feedstocks and water from other production processes.

Other Business

  • Obtained a factory operation licence to produce soil conditioners from sewage or non-hazardous unused materials.
2023

Zone 3 Phase 1 Biogas Capacity Expansion

Biogas Production and Distribution

  • Obtained a factory operation certificate within an industrial estate (Form Khor.2) for the Zone 3 Phase 1 expansion project.
  • The project covers the production of soil conditioners and biogas from biological sludge and non-hazardous unused materials through anaerobic digestion, as well as the sorting of non-hazardous unused materials.
2024

Completion of Zone 3 Phase 1 Biogas Capacity Expansion

Organic Waste Management

  • Increased maximum organic waste treatment capacity to approximately 548,460 tonnes per year.

Biogas Production and Distribution

  • Increased maximum biogas production capacity to approximately 39,402,000 cubic metres per year.

Green Electricity (Biogas based) Generation and Distribution

  • Obtained approval for the first factory expansion to increase biogas-based power generation capacity by 4.126 MW, bringing total installed capacity to 8.126 MW.
2025

Conversion into a Public Company and Preparation for Listing

The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, held on April 3, 2025, resolved to approve TEBP to proceed as follows:

  • Conversion into a Public Company and Preparation for Listing
  • Change in the par value from THB 100 per share to THB 1 per share.
  • Increase in registered capital by THB 260 million, from THB 40 million to THB 300 million, through the issuance of 260 million new ordinary shares with a par value of THB 1 per share.
